Please lend me your heart
For mine just needs to mend
Cover me with love and prayer
Until I touch His comfort again

Please lend me your shoulder
For those times, I need to cry
Cover me with understanding
Until I have the strength to try

Please lend me your hand
For I’ve lost my way it seems
Cover me with gentle direction
Until I find those quiet streams

Please lend me your faith
For mine has become so weak
Cover me with tender guidance
Until I can feel the grace, I seek
