Can one candle cause a light

That can shine through the darkest night?

Can one small flickering candle turn

A light that through all darkness burns?

 

If He lights yours and you light mine.

And so forth on down the line,

Soon no darkness will show through;

Because of me, because of you!

 

So it will be, if we spread the word

Of Jesus Christ, our Loving Lord.

I tell you and you tell him;

God's word will spread again and again.

 

 

Until all have heard His Amazing Story

Of how He died yet now LIVES in glory.

Until it is spread over earth and sea,

How He gave His life for you and me.

 

So, light your candle, then light mine,

And soon you'll see that we will find.

The Shining Light from Christ above

That guides us with His eternal love!
