A truth that shines within their eyes
An understanding very deep
To give without return
A love they cannot keep

A loyalty beyond compare
To protect a friend from ill
To stand between to guard
On stormy days or still

With a song to lift a spirit
When we forget the words
To sing out loud the music
When no melody is heard

To share an understanding
From wisdom through the years
Listening with a loving care
With comfort for all fears

A heart that overflows with love
That only God can give
Glowing His eternal flame of light
For others they will live

God's special instrument--
A chosen vessel unto Him to bear His name.
