As I watch from my window
as you run and play
Enjoying everything
I thank God for the day

He sent you to our home
Just a tiny helpless Babe
One that crawled right into our heart
And there it is you've stayed

If I could measure the love you bring
into our life each day
There still would not be enough words
That I could ever say

To let everyone know about you
And how you've blessed us so
So keep running and playing
Little darling, I love watching you grow

What pride I feel as I see you there
in the beautiful sunshine
wind blowing thru your hair
