~ Look Up To God ~

With folded hands in prayer
Knowing My Lord is always there
Thy Will Be Done, in Our Lord's time not ours
Time passes, minutes and perhaps many hours

Jesus hears our requests, and knows what time is best
He fills our hearts with love, patience and zest
All we need is trust and He will fulfill
Be patient, silent in our prayers, and still

Live and enjoy each new sunlit day
Love will always make our hearts gay
Happiness comes from our heart and soul
These things we must know

Look up to our Lord and be thankful
Straight from our hearts be grateful
Only today is ours, as each day handles itself
We take every day, just as it's dealt
