~ Make Me Believe ~

Shower me with assurance
to nourish my inner drought.
Help me scale the wall
create in me no doubts.

Place your gentle hand
over mine so light.
Let a part of you remain
when I turn out the light.

Bring me little smiles
for me to wear each day.
Sing to me of sunshine
so it may light my way.

Talk to me of dreams
all about the land.
Paint me pretty pictures
you know I'll understand.

Tell me that I'm pretty
but tell me no more lies.
Show me the full circle
of your rainbow in the sky.

Sing to me of love and
how it can't be wrong.
Make me feel love's hunger
so I can sing along.
