~ Make My Day ~
Sometimes I can hardly get by
and at times I'd like to die.
Only through God's grace
another day can I face.
God knows my deepest thoughts
and the battles I've fought.
When I can't make another week,
he gives me the courage I seek.
He keeps me from wrong
and makes me strong.
Each day I survive
and on God's word I thrive.
At dawn as I make my way,
these words I always say ...
"Please Lord, I pray ...
Make my day."
