~ From the
Manger Beyond
The Grave ~
In a little
town called
Bethlehem, on
a dark and
lonely night,
A baby child,
the Son of
God, blessed
us with His
sight.
The Angels
sang their
glory, lighting
up the cold
winter's sky.
Three kings
bowed down
before
Him, bringing
gifts that
they brought
by!
The poorest of
the flock
herders
stopped to
worship at
that stall,
Each loving
and adoring;
each praising
Him, one and
all.
The animals
all surrounded
that Baby in
the hay,
Keeping him
warm and
sheltered, in
their own
loving way.
Not a
frightened
whimper. Not a
tear or hungry
cry
Was heard from
Gentle Jesus,
not even a
shuttered
sigh.
He knew why He
was
present...knew
why He had
come.
He was our
Salvation...the
Father's Only
Son.
He knew His
only purpose
was for the
world to save.
He's been our
greatest Gift
from the
manger beyond
the Grave.
So remember
the greatest
gift of the
Season always
will be love,
It was given
to us the
First
Christmas from
Our Father up
above!!
