~ Memories Are Really Friends ~
The memories we keep are really friends
That we can always see
To pop up almost unawares
A pleasure constantly

Most often it's a sheer surprise
When a memory will come
Something special comes to mind
And we smile at the fun



How neat to visit as we like
To muse on endlessly
Remembering every sweet delight
Entertained deliciously

For we take them everywhere we go
To dream or out to tea
And you are such a treasured memory
That you always tag along with me
