~ Mirror Friends ~

You echo me, I swift reply
I am your shadow
or are you my shadow yet
we cannot know, but that
as truest friends
we are the best

You complement the me I am
We turn, yet,
face each other then
So similar of heart design
thus love in us
can truly rest

Though so far away
you seem at times
Still in the very centre friends
we meet and give
our shoulders touch
For that is where we are content

I mirror you
I see you there, here, everywhere
I you reflect
Resemblance rings, resounds duet
You are love's answer
I was sent
