~ Moonlight Nights ~
Sitting by the lake, sun slipping behind the trees
Stars slowly peeking out, so shy they seem,
As the moon peeps down upon the earth shyly
A white shadow across the lake like a highway
Together we look out across the lake
Holding each other, watching it reveal it's face
The moon rises slowly out of the trees
How much more romantic could we want it to be
Stars sparkle bright, dancing over
our heads
Light of the moon uncovers the lake's lovely spread
See the birds swimming by, hear their song
What more could we ever ask for, or even want
A beautiful moonlit night, with just you and me
Smelling the perfume from the lake and trees
Sharing them together, ours souls become one
Love flowing through us, passion greeting the sun
