~ Morning Light ~
When I first arise, and say my
prayer
Open my curtains, and see the
morning light
I praise my Lord above, and tell
Him that I care
With His love my days are always
bright
He sees me through all trials,
and takes away my fright
Life’s roads are filled with
many paths
I trust my Lord Jesus with all
my might
I try to take the way that will
last
Reading the Word of God in His
Holy Bible
Believing, and faith are the
answers for my guiding light
Guides me through my day, and
keeps me from all trouble
He sees me through my problems,
and keeps me from my plight
For certain my days are not
perfect, but better for belief
I praise my Lord above who
protects me through the night
Our Dear Lord blesses us with
joy, and keeps us from all grief
Keep my Lord in prayer, and much
to my delight
If ever I err, I know my Lord
will take me in His care
I want to see the day that I too
will be in heaven
He wants us to show others we
care, and even share
Only thru God, and Jesus up above can
we be forgiven
