I hear a morning serenade at break of day
Birds singing from the branch of a tree
Their song so mystical in a way
Floating out from the green leaves.
Beautiful birds singing loud and clear
A morning serenade so lovely to hear
God gave them wings so they could fly
And at sunrise soar high into the sky.
These lovely birds fly I know not where
I only know they are under God's care
They always return to the tree
Then sing a morning serenade to me.
