~ Morning Tranquility ~


Softly o'er the highest mountains
Sweeping down into the plain
The morning sunshine beams its rays
Deep into our heart again

Bringing to our waiting hearts
A warmth to wonderfully unfold
A love that never fails to sparkle
Of the purest gold

To keep our souls secure
And tranquil all day long
To bear us safely home
Where we always will belong

The darkest night is swept aside
By a tender morning smile
No shadows ever shroud the love
When Jesus is our guide

He is the peace of each tomorrow
In all He offers as His gift
Praise bursts from our lips
For our lives are surely His

Yes, Jesus is our Savior
Our friend upon life's path
He surrounds us in the warmest sunshine
Of His ever loving heart
