I want to write a letter,
to tell you I'm okay,
I want to sit and talk again
and tell you ‘bout my day.

I miss our times together,
in the early morning light
we'd share a cup of coffee;
the world then seemed so right.



For Mother’s Day I'd send you
a card with all my love
but you have left this earth,
your home is Heaven above.

So mom this is my gift to you,
and I hope you can see,
you're carried still within my heart,
you're still a part of me.
