~ A Mother's Seeds ~
A mother sows seeds for her family
Love, joy, faith and spiritual peace
These are seeds she gives her children
Don't let those seeds ever cease.
She gave the seed of kindness
To everyone she met
She was sowing seeds of God's love
Seeds they won't soon forget.
Seeds of joy she passed out
To the sad and weary along the way
Seeds of loving patience
She gave out every day.
To her children she gave seeds
and to her grandchildren too
So they could pass them on to others
Turning one seed into two.
Those seeds will still be here
Your great, great grandchildren
will pass them on
Thank the Lord, that you planted them there.
So on this Mother's Day
We hope in some small way
To honor you with love
Like the love God sends from above.
