~ My Brightest Star ~

When I look into the Heavens
I see my brightest star,
She is my best loved sister
God gave me from His heart.

I do not know what I would do without her
For she has shared
My sorrow, tears and laughter.
My greatest joy, my own
My sister is my miracle
That I have always known.

She helps me see the world through her eyes
I am never left alone.
It does not matter that I cannot get around
For she is my own.

She teaches me of faith sincere
And tells me stories I so love to hear.
Through her eyes I know her home and family
My brother, niece, nephew and our mom
My sister is my rock I stand upon.

She is my brightest star
that shines for me forever
We are truly one
And we live for each other.
