Time has passed since I met you
We have been through so much
Together and apart
I want to take this time
To tell you I love you
My dearest friend right from my heart

Mother's Day is special
You have so much love to give
To friends and family
You deserve a kiss morning and night
And a day to remember
Full of joyous sunlight

Your heart is home to a beautiful garden
Of much love and devotion
Where you work with such care
Happy and free are your dreams
You can go anywhere

Birds that fly by and horses to ride
What a beautiful site
A tree house to hide in
A little dog for some play
Having seconds at dinner
All this is wonderful
You are God's gift to me today

To my dearest friend on Mother's Day
Thank you for caring for me
I feel so much a part of your life
Like the chimes that ring
Life can be so beautiful
It makes me want to sing
