My Feelin's

Our days on earth are numbered
We are only here for a short time
I don't know how you'll spend yours
I am going to make the best of mine.

I will have fun with all my friends
Just laughing and joking with ya'll
Because I may not wake up tomorrow
Today I am going to have myself a ball.

I will write my words all down in rhyme
And share them with my friends
And if you decide to not receive
Then please do tell and I won't send.

I promise not to get offended friends
If you choose to not get my mail
I will not shout and stomp my feet
Or shed enough tears to fill a pail.

This gift God chose to give me
I will never put to waste
And I hope that each line and word
Will bring a smile to your face.
