~ My Flighty Little "Flutterby"

It's May - the winter
is long since past
The warmth of a summer
is here at last
The sun is bright, the
sky is blue
The meadow is moist
with morning dew.
Our little friends who
soar on wings
Have never forgotten
how to sing
And in the peace of a
country day
A "flutterby" will come
my way.
Designed with colors of
every hue
Additional beauty for
our view
God's masterpiece was
his creation
Its beauty spread
throughout each nation.
From light to dark,
from large to small
His calling card is the
best of all.
The "Flutterby"...
so
silent in its quest for recognition.
