~ My Gentle Angel ~

We began so very tentatively
When our friendship had its start
We had no plan and could not guess
Of all tomorrow would impart

But as each day passed by
Our sending catalogued
And every caring thought we realized
Was a precious gift from God

Until a real connection formed
And before we even knew
A warmth, a love, a tenderness
So very softly grew

Now a day can never pass on by
Without you always on my mind
Wondering how you are
And if your day is going fine

Be blessed my angel friend
For all that you have done
Today I want to say a big thank you
For all your gentle love
