Used by her so many years
When she read to us about Jesus
Her eyes filled with tears.

This beautiful old bible
My mother held so dear
When reading the blessed scriptures
She felt Jesus was very near.

This lovely old bible
Now belongs to me
Lies on my bedside table
So nightly I can read.
