~My Poem For You ~
 
I have a friend with a heart of gold
I know it's so, for God did mold,
Her heart, her eyes, steadfast and true
Portray a life, Christ made anew.

 

For this friend so dear, sure as can be
Lives a beautiful life for all to see,
I know she's loved by kith and kin
Because real love, glows warm from within.



To know she's been kept by the Lord so long
Causes me to delight in her happy song,
Until that day together we will be
Home with our Savior for eternity.

 

Thank you dear friend, for all you are
In giving of your heart to those near and far,
If ever the time comes when we have to part
I know you will understand what I feel in my heart.
