Dear Lord, I come to Thee today
On bended knee to Thee to pray!
I take to You in solemn prayer
My every thought my every care!

Lord, it's not for me I need to ask,
But something of a higher task.
My heart pours out to Thee above
For this Christian man I truly love!

Lord I deliver into Your Mighty Hands
And leave it there at Your command!
To give him hope and peace, Dear Lord,
To help him lose his discord.

Give him strength to carry on,
To serve You Lord from this day on!
To know his work on earth's not o'er
To know that You still need him more!

Let him see that he's needed so
By all he loves, by all he knows.
Dear Lord, please don't let him give in
To death's dealings ...don't let death win!

Let him know that I'll be here
And that You are ALWAYS near!
Dear Lord, if it be Thy will
Give him peace, keep him still.

And if someone must go away,
Let it be me You take today.
His faith is strong, his trust is true.
Give him the strength to carry through!

Instill Your Grace into his life
Take away his toil and strife.
Let Your work pour through him Lord
To give his love and spread Your word.

A wonderful man needs You today
Be there for him, Dear God I pray!
Dear Father please stand close beside him
Speak to him, lead him guide him.

Give to him such strong resolve
All his heartaches, please solve!
These things I humbly ask for him
In the Name of Christ, my Lord ...AMEN!!

 

My Dear Man, your time on earth's not through,
He still has too much work for you to do.
So many men to give the Word
Of God the Father, our Great Lord!!
