~ Nature's Retreat  ~
 
A cottage in the woods so warm and snug
Trails of beauty to walk and learn love
So peaceful a place for us to become one
 
A brook that babbles along in a song
Letting us know this is where we belong
Cares and worries of the world long gone
 
As night sets we light a fire in the hearth
And cuddle together listening to to the dark
Songs of the night creatures in time with the sparks
 
Yes it is nature's retreat made just for us
That we can feel the true beauty of our love
That we will know of the days still to come
