~ A New Christmas This
Year ~
Once
again Christmas is coming
around
and pretty lights are all
over town
People are always happier at
this time of season
but this year seems
different and I think this
is the reason.
Some don't want us to say
Merry Christmas to the
people
they probably don't want the
bells ringing in the church
steeple
Instead they want us to say,
Have a Happy Holiday
and forbid us to say that
Santa is on the way.
They don't want God in the
picture anymore
we can't put a manger scene
out by our front door.
For those folks what a
surprise is waiting in store
when one day Jesus comes
knocking at their front door
I really don't know what the
world is coming to
but I am going to be
cheerful, How about you?
You see, I know what I am
going to do this year
I am going to say
Merry Christmas and have a
Happy New Year!
