~ A New Start ~
Another one's gone I am glad to say
All the rough moments out of the way
Been a year of discovery and fear
To start life afresh is almost here
One year down, more yet to come
We do waste life when we are young
To think of years already gone past
We think friends and loves forever will last
The year may be coming to the end
Time to look and not still pretend
Look and you will see the truth
Another year ahead, will you be a youth
As long as we know that nothing is free
The future is for you to decide to be
The only truth in life is the choice
What we do with our one and only voice
Are we going to let good or evil live within
This is the time to let our decisions begin
So from me to you I say with a blessed love
That the year ahead God watches from above
Give us strength for another year ahead
Another year gone and put to bed
So to one and all, I say with love
May the year ahead be one of more to come
May your plans as well as ones we make
Become better than the ones that fade
A new year comes quickly towards us
May we all live it in patience and love
Friends may I now say to you in truth
May another year come with love from you
So happy new year with more I pray to come
