New Year brings to us tomorrows
New Year brings us more to say
New Year brings an expectation
For each and every day

New Year holds a secret hope
Of all that we may sing
Sweet adventures, grand surprises
Whatever God may bring

And my earnest prayer for you
Is one of only perfect rest
Rest in all our God has done
To give to us His best

We can take advantage of His faithfulness and make
every day a fresh start. Resolve to make each day
the beginning of a new year, a new morning,
a new adventure. He wipes the slate clean and goes back
to zero so we can be filled up again with His spirit and share
Him all day long. Enjoy the blessings of a new year,
in Christ, one day at a time!
