~ Nightfall ~

I sit and watch out my window
The stars come out at night
Sparkling against the dark sky
And fill the night with light.

Watching the stars, thinking
How can this miracle be
The light from the sun has gone
And a magic performance I see.

Up high in the heavens
God is changing the view
I am amazed at His mighty power
Such wondrous things He can do.

I keep looking out the window
Watching God's beauty on display
In awe I feel His presence
As nightfall blanks out the day.
