Ode to the morning, the joy of the dawn
Black birds are calling,
God's blessed words,
Praise for dawn's sunrise and the sunset
Praise God's Holy name,
for the words He did say
Sweet are the dewdrops, the first light of day
Raise up our face, to Our Lord and pray
Praise for the sweetness
upon the drenched grass
Uncoiling His beauty,
where Jesus' feet pass
Bright is the vision, born of the light
In God's creation, such wonder in sight
In ocean waves and in the great sun
Ode to the morning,
rejoice with elation.
Praise every morning, upon which we wake
God's own unfolding
of His new day
Ode to the morning, the first joy of dawn
Black birds are calling
God's blessed words-
Rejoice in the sunrise
and the sunset
Praise God's Holy name,
for the words He did say
