~ O Holy Night ~

A sky of blue was lit so bright
With one single star of light
To guide the shepherds and the Kings
All the while the angels did sing
Hallelujah the Son of God is born

They came to visit with gifts of love
The newborn King had gifts from above
His gifts are love, peace and joy
For all who believe it is theirs to enjoy
Hallelujah the Son of God is born

His Mother Mary held her baby tight
Not knowing of her child's plight
Love and peace the Holy Family found
The child would grow up and astound
Hallelujah the Son of God is born

A most beautiful wondrous holy night
Filled with love, peace and hope tonight
Jesus birth began a new journey of promise
Fulfilled from many books and prophets
Hallelujah the Son of God is born
