Once it was only one
One bulb of goodness found
God planted in His friendship garden
To nurture in His ground

And then His very warmest sunshine
And showers of sweetest care
Rained down upon that little bulb
To bless it gently there

A very little time passed by
Til one day His love just burst us through
Joined together from God's heart
His life was born as two

Now we're a pretty pair of blooms
Connected by His stem
He feeds our souls with lasting love
To be the very best of friends
