Give to me just one
day,
That's all I'm asking
for.
One day to give you
all I can,
I will not ask for
more!
One day to be all I
Can be;
One day to be with
you.
Just one day to be,
my Dear,
Not a couple or a
few.
One day at a time to
share
Whatever may come our
way.
For we don't know
about tomorrow,
And can live only for
today!
I'll not ask
for forever,
Nor will I say
always.
I'll only offer
all the love
I can give to you
today!
