~ Our Time On Earth ~
You know we all take life for granted
We let the good things pass us on by
We don't stop to smell the flowers
And we seem too busy to stop and say hi.
We don't take time for our children
Or our loved ones or our true friends
Our days are filled with hurry and rush
We don't even take the time for Amen.
But I have come to realize one thing for sure
Our days here on Earth are precious and few
We are each living on God's borrowed time
And how we spend them is up to me and you.
But I will tell you one thing family and friends
And I say this with all honesty and truth
I know I don't have lots of money or looks
But what I have is a special bond with you.
