Paint my picture with grief...
for my fallen friends...
warriors, wives and children...
paint with a pain that dosen't end.

Paint my picture with pride,
for my present, and my past...
a great and powerful nation...
one that will always last.

Paint my picture with compassion,
for the world around me...
not of concrete and steel,
but the land, from sea to sea.

Paint my picture with understanding...
for the ignorance of men...
realizing that even I
have once walked in sin.

Paint my picture, oh Great Spirit,
for all the world to see,
paint the picture of love...
flowing inside of me.
