~ Please Give Me A Hill ~
I'm climbing mountains,
obeying Thy will,
but Father, just once
could You give me a hill?
My legs now grow weary
my heart’s growing weak.
But Father please know,
it’s truth that I seek.
If I could just rest,
for a moment or two,
I know I’d find strength
to climb back to You.
So let me lay down
in the valley and sleep.
Tomorrow I’ll wake,
my promise I’ll keep.
Wrap me up gently
in Your loving arms,
for with You by my side
I will suffer no harm.
I will climb my mountain,
obeying Thy will,
with the hope that soon
You will give me a hill.
