He operated on a budget
He would give all for your soul
This took no monetary value
He just came to make all whole

The perfect Father, Son, Companion
Was lynched up high upon a cross
And still, while hanging there, He loved you
For His mission was, to save the lost

Speaking of wonders, yes, He awed them
But some were scared of truth, and light
And even though we all forsook Him
We are still precious in His sight

Jesus loved you more then life
And proved this love, unselfishly
When He was born, all changed that day
And the world was shook for you, and me

Can you hear Him in the distance?
Do you feel Him day, to day?
Then thank God, that He sent Him
For He will never go away.
