Thoughts are put on paper
we write of many things
happiness and sadness
life and all it's strings

The words we share are heartfelt
penned from deep within
stabbing pain and sorrow
memories, re-lived

Pens will drip raw feelings
nightmares of the night
scribbling words on paper
some are dark, some bright

Linking words together
sharing love or hate
bloodstained tears 'n laughter
Hell and Pearly Gates

Etching words of friendship
faith and inner peace
illness and destruction
pleasure and release

Harmony and moonglow
heartache or despair
nature and His creatures
Angel's waltz with flair

Poetic verses, written
like seasons, always change
painting clouds 'n rainbows
is the poet's game
