A Prayer For All American Soldiers
On Thanksgiving Day

A prayer goes out to you,
our American Soldiers on Thanksgiving Day
May you find peace within your heart, as you go on your way
For those within the desert, may a sweet oasis come
so today, you will not feel the heat of raging sun
But have cool refreshment, each and everyone

A prayer goes out to you,
our American Soldiers on Thanksgiving Day
For you have your family in your hearts,
We know there is still pain keeping you apart
As you trudge in heat or cold, with boots as heavy as can be
The walk of loneliness, we pray you do not see
You are the bravest soldiers, order you try to maintain
You are helping many people, in a forgotten land
Remember America is with you, in everything you do
We are constant in our prayer, our love is holding you

A prayer goes out to you
our American Soldiers on Thanksgiving Day
That soon you will come home, as hero's very true
We want you to know how much we all love you
The red, the white, the blue.
