~ Prayers For Comfort ~

I wish that I could comfort you,
to help you through your pain;
but distance is too far and wide,
so I’ll pray you’ll be sustained.

I’ll pray for heaven’s angels
to hold you through this night,
until at last you find your way
back into peace and light.

May memories of time now past
give solace through each tomorrow,
and may Your Father in Heaven
bring you peace to ease the sorrow.
