~ Purple Sky ~


As the sun begins to set
And the sky takes on a beautiful hue
So many colors swirled together
Lots of whites, purples, and blues.

But as the sun sets on the horizon
A purple sky begins to emerge
The nighttime sky is creeping in
And soon the two will merge.

It's then this purple sky will fade
As the sun slowly disappears
The moon will take its place in the sky
And the veil of darkness will be here.

There is no need to fear the night
For soon the sun again will rise
The moon will slowly make its descent
Bringing forth a purple sky.

A purple sky with the setting of the sun
And a purple sky with its rise
As usual it always fades away
Leaving me somewhat mesmerized.
