In a colorful forest where quiet waters flow
A ray of sunlight makes the water glow
Two white swans floating along so slow
God created this lovely place, you know.
He planted the cottonwood and redbud trees
In just the right places for all to enjoy and
see
What a beautiful way to spend the day
Reading God's word and softly pray.
Beside the quiet waters there is peace
Here the soul can find sweet release
Look around, there is nothing to fear
Listen, and hear God's voice so clear.
Now it is time to thank God and pray
For the beauty of quiet waters today
The beauty here was not made by man
God created all this with a loving hand.
