A Ray Of Sunlight

As I awoke this morning
I saw a ray of sunlight
Shining across my bed
To chase away the night.

I wanted to wrap it up and send
This ray of sunlight to you
But you cannot wrap sunshine
A good morning wish will have to do.

I pray God will watch over you
Bringing happiness in all you do
And a ray of sunlight warms you today
As God's love chases your cares way
