Turkey's in the oven
Mama's baking bread
Kids are getting hungry
It's time they all are fed

There's plenty now for all
Eat as much as you can eat
Now every one is filled with food
Except those children on the street

Please someone move around
And make a bit more space
Around this bountiful table
Just look at that pitiful face

Those little eyes so wide
wishing only for a crumb
Please let's go and get them
There's enough for everyone

Now after they are fed
We see smiles breaking out
Laughter too we hear
This is what Thanksgiving's all about
