The stars up in that winter's sky
Shined a brighter bright.
They had to show the one true way
To the Baby Child that night!

The animals all cleaned themselves
So they could look their best.
And knelt beside that Blessed Child
Warming Him as He was at rest!

Mary clutched Him tenderly
To her loving heart;
For she knew He was a miracle
Right from the very start!

 

Joseph looked on with joy
And love and so much pride!
Standing there protecting them,
Right by Mary's side!

The Wisemen, bearing gifts
Came to worship the Baby Boy!
Angels sang so perfectly
Welcoming Him with joy!

Shepherds came from near and far
To gaze upon His face;
This Baby Man who would give His life
In honor and in grace!

 

Christmas time is all about
The act of truly giving
The love we have within our hearts,
The love of simply living!

It's not about sharing wealth
Of gold or precious gems.
It's about what the Christ Child gave
And truly honoring HIM!

So, as you rush around this year
Preparing for the season,
Remember why we celebrate....
Don't forget the reason!
