It could
have been me;
But by your grace,
Who died with them there
In someone's place.
It could have been me;
But by your will,
I am here living
I'm serving You still.
If not by Your power
I'd be here not at all
So dear Lord and Savior,
I answer Your call.
All of my trust
Is yours alone.
My life I hand over,
It's NOT mine to own.
I thought it was demons
I wrestled that day.
Instead it was angels
You sent my way.
I praise You dear Father
Lift my heart up to You
To spread of Your glory
To many or few!
Father, please use me
To lead others Your way.
To live in Your peace
Day after day!
Whatever You wish,
Whate'er You require,
That's my soul's song.
My heart's desire.
