~ The Road ~
When your Walk is going uphill
And the road keeps getting longer
And it seems you're getting weaker
And the devil's getting stronger;
When you're feeling oh, so weary
Of this world and all it's cares;
When you need someone to lean on
And look around but no one's there;
When your life just isn't going
The way that you had planned;
And you're seeing all your dreams
Sifting away right through your hand;
When it feels like you are carrying
Far much greater than your load...
Don't look back on what's behind you.
Just keep on stepping down the road!
Jesus is walking there beside you,
Leading you along His way.
He will never leave or forsake you;
Lean on Him each and every day!
Keep your eye upon His Precious Face;
He'll lift from you that heavy load,
As long as you walk beside Him
Down that narrow, turning road!
Just keep on walking!!
