~ Roses For You ~
Friends are roses that give us pleasure
They are a gift from God we treasure
Beautiful as the wings of butterflies
Lovely and kind in our eyes.
Dainty rose petals slowly unfold
Each one a pleasure to behold
Like the joy of seeing a friend
A feeling we pray never to end.
Roses can mean most anything
A symbol of love or friendship true
But today these beautiful roses
I am sending just to you.
Friends are the roses in life's bouquet
And fill our hearts with love each day
When troubles or trials come our way
Friends kneel by our side as we pray.
