I want to give a rose to you
As another way to send
My unending gratitude
For being such a special friend
I may have said it once
Or even twice before
But I hope you are alright with it
As I'm sure to say it more
For I can never say enough
How I love that we can share
You draw me out in dialogue
To show you really care
When I need to open up
You somehow understand
Then when you know I really need it
I feel you touch my hand
