Rural life is the place for me
Everything is quiet as can be
The beauty of nature at its best
At night I receive a peaceful rest.
A lovely blue sky, green trees
A gentle blowing breeze
And lovely birds that sing
God created everything.
Rural life is like a book
Each day a page unfolds
We never know beforehand
What scenarios it holds.
Beauty of rural life surrounds me
Each day God gives me a smile
And He makes my day worthwhile
The way He meant rural life to be.
